Bathroom Remodeling

After interviewing 3 companies to remodel our shower, we decided to work with EGM Construction. After careful consideration, we were very comfortable with Edgar's presentation and proposal. We felt we could trust his company to do our bathroom remodel after our old shower failed. It was only 3 1/2 years old, leaking and poor design caused considerable damage to our walls, baseboards and floor. Their customer service was 5 star! Each evening their wonderful office staff informed us of who would be there the next day, what work was being done, and at what time. Each member of his crew was extremely competent, courteous, and friendly. Edgar was there every step of the way, coming by each day to check in on our project. It's clear that their motto "with you every step of the way" is true. We highly recommend EGM Construction, this was the smoothest remodel we have ever experienced. It takes something exceptional to motivate us to leave a review. We just had that experience with EGM Construction. We met with representatives from three different construction companies to inquire about their help on an upstairs hall bathroom remodel. Quotes from all three companies were very competitive. Edgar was the project manager that we met with from EGM. He was on time for our meeting, very professional, asked lots of questions about the project so that he had a full understanding of what we envisioned and expected. He brought up things we didn’t think of or know to ask about. He was taking notes the entire time and before Edgar left our home we had a detailed written estimate from him. Edgar explained to us how his company prioritizes customer satisfaction, and quality. He proceeded to show us photos of some of their finished work for projects similar to ours. It didn’t feel like the normal sales pitch you get when trying to be sold a service, it was genuine. By the time Edgar left we knew EGM was the company we were going to use. We absolutely made the right choice!
Everything with EGM went smoothly, starting with the design, demo, shopping for materials and installation. Edgar made communication with us a priority. We always knew at the end of the day, in writing, what was to be expected for the following day. As project manager, Edgar was often on site checking in with his crew and overseeing the work being done. He was always available for questions, again making communication with the customer a priority.
The skilled and experienced crew always showed up and on time ready to work. The pride they took in their talent and workmanship was exceptional. They also took great care in protecting our home from damage and kept things as tidy as possible. The bathroom turned out beautiful and better than we expected. There were no surprises or bumps along the way. We don’t have one negative thing to say about our experience with EGM.
We already have another project in mind for later this year and for sure we’re going to use EGM and Edgar.
We have done other remodeling projects for our home using other Contractors over the years. Sure wish we had known about EGM before doing those jobs. We can’t imagine using anyone else.

I found EGM through Google reviews and contacted them for a quote based on all the great reviews. I wanted to add a standing shower to my laundry room to make the laundry room more functional for guests. Edgar came out to discuss what I needed and he provided me with an estimate during our meeting. I felt very comfortable with Edgar and appreciated his knowledge of what was needed and his professionalism.

I’ve done several remodels and builds in the past so I had a general sense of what my project would cost me. I had also gotten a rough estimate from a contractor I worked with in the past prior to meeting with Edgar. Although Edgar’s estimate came out higher, I felt that it was still reasonable. It was more important for me to work with someone that is professional, reliable, licensed, insured and does quality work rather than just basing my decision on the best price quoted. I knew after meeting with Edgar that I wanted to work with EGM so I started the process the next day to pull permits. After permits were issued, EGM was able to quickly complete the project in 4 weeks, just in time for my deadline to complete before family arrived for the holiday. The office communicated with me daily on what was going to happen the next day and who would be showing up to do the specified job. Edgar was always quick to respond to any questions He always made himself available when needed and I was always able to reach him anytime throughout the project. I was very impressed by Edgar, his entire team at the office and the employees he had on the job.

There were a couple minor hiccups along the way but Edgar always pulled through with a solution. It is evident that Edgar loves what he does and understands the importance of exceptional customer service and providing the best experience possible. What also stood out during the project is how his crew cleaned up every day at the end of their work day. I never felt stressed from living in a home that was having construction done. His crew left the job site clean every day, something I’ve never experienced with any other contractors. I really appreciated their care and consideration.

I would highly recommend EGM and plan to work with them again in the future. I feel lucky to have come across EGM through Google reviews and am thankful for a wonderful experience!

They were professional, detailed, and very communicative throughout the entire process from the beginning of the sales process all the way through to the end of the implementation. There was really no comparison between them and anyone else we spoke to as far as their ability to clearly communicate the options, provide us with all kinds of visuals, be able to determine how we wanted the shower to be built, what materials, colors, glass type, etc. It was all about communication with them and they're absolutely wonderful at it. And that's everyone in the organization. We never once had to initiate communication to them during the entire project. We were constantly updated with status, provided reminders of dates when their workers were going to be on site and what was going to be done. Everyone we interacted with was professional, friendly, easygoing, and answered all of our questions. At the end of the day, the work was done perfectly and we never had a single issue throughout.

If you're considering the work that we had done - a shower demo and replacement - I'm sure there are other things that they are just as skilled at - just make it easy on yourself and choose them. They will make your life so much easier than anyone else will. They will take responsibility for every aspect of the implementation, if you want them to, and they will do an exceptional job at it.
